Bio
“My aim is to bring my passion for tax planning and advice to my clients with tailored services while treating them with the care and respect that they deserve.”
I was raised as a daughter of a single mother, and both she and my older brother worked remarkably hard to provide for our family. After I graduated from high school, my mother suffered a major injury and immediately ceased working. Bearing a great sense of responsibility to take care of my family, I suspended further studies and commenced full-time employment as a Canon sales rep. During my time there I helped my company achieve its highest sales record in my first year. I continually helped them increase profits even during the 2008 global financial crisis.
After my mother recovered, and with my brother's financial support, I then commenced full-time tertiary studies in accounting while working part-time to support my own living costs. I worked for variety of retail businesses in managerial, sales, and customer service roles. Through my experiences of working in these diverse businesses, I acquired knowledge on how these businesses were run from an accounting & operational perspective. These insights that would later prove invaluable in helping small & medium sized businesses during my tax career.
My lecturer inspired in me a strong passion to develop and pursue a career in taxation. I received recognition for excellent academic achievement and was then offered a taxation internship upon graduation. I was later given a full-time role at a tax firm while launching my freelance bookkeeping business.
At my role in a tax firm, I quickly learned my skills through my role as a tax accountant assistant and I eventually handled clients as a tax consultant in the firm, helping clients achieve their financial goals by developing tax plans and strategies with them. I prepared tax and bookkeeping for a variety of small & medium businesses, advised clients in tax law and liabilities, and helped them improve their business performance and profitability.
I am eternally grateful for every opportunity that has entered into my life. I launched Z&Co. Accountants in 2018. My aim is to bring my passion for tax planning and advice to my clients with tailored services while treating them with the care and respect that they deserve. We are here to face ups and downs with them during their career or business development and provide support along their journey to ensure that they are on the right track to achieve their success.
