Bio
I was raised as a daughter of a single mother, and both she and my older brother worked remarkably hard to provide for our family. After I graduated from high school, my mother suffered a major injury and immediately ceased working. I felt a great sense of responsibility in taking care of my family because I loved my mum dearly. Thus I suspended further studies and began working full-time.
I commenced employment as a Canon sales promoter and helped my company achieve its highest sales record in my first year. I continually helped them increase profits even during the 2008 global financial crisis. However, I questioned whether I wanted to be a salesperson my entire life.

After my mother recovered, I discussed with my family about pursuing higher education. With my brother's financial support, I then commenced my full-time tertiary studies in accounting while working part-time to support my own living costs.
I took up roles such as sales positions in retail businesses, a managerial role at a bakery, I worked as a florist, a waitress, a kitchen hand, a quality control officer, a customer service member and I volunteered for many events and organisations. Through my experiences of working in these diverse businesses, I learnt how they were run from an accounting & operational point of view, which later aided me in helping small & medium sized businesses during my tax career.
My lecturer inspired in me a strong passion to develop and pursue a career in taxation. I received recognition for excellent academic achievement and was then offered a taxation internship upon graduation. I was later given a full-time role at a tax firm while launching my freelance bookkeeping business.
At the tax firm, I quickly learned my skills through my role as a tax accountant assistant and I eventually handled clients as a tax consultant in the firm, helping them achieve their financial goals by developing tax plans and strategies with them. I conducted bookkeeping and prepared tax for a variety of small & medium businesses, advised clients in tax law and liabilities, and helped them improve their business performance and profitability.
I am eternally grateful for every opportunity that has entered into my life. I launched Z&Co. Accountants in 2018. My aim is to bring my passion for tax planning and advice to my clients with tailored services while treating them with the care and respect that they deserve. We are here to face ups and downs with them during their career or business development and provide support along their journey to ensure that they are on the right track to achieve their success.
